It all began in October of 2008 and ended May 16, 2009. I was on a mission to adopt a dog and take in my first very own four legged friend into my home as a addition to my family. I found a few dogs and they never seemed to work out for one reason or the other. Then after a few failed attempts to adopt a dog I decided to table it until summer.
In January, I got another itch and I did a search for Shar Pei’s on petfinder.com (great site) That’s when I first saw the dog that I was hoping would be mine. He had be abandon on the streets of Vancouver, BC and was in pretty bad shape, but his foster mom saw hope in him. Trevor at the time was a fighter and had a will to live. It was several months before he would join me in my home, but it was well worth the wait. He has changed my view on animals forever!
Trey and I would like to thank the people at the Shar Pei Rescue for seeing value in saving his life. We are blessed to have people like them on this planet!
